1. Overview

GPTimage ("we", "us", "the service") is a free, anonymous web tool that turns text prompts into images. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using gptimage.com you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

We deliberately collect as little as possible:

• Prompts you submit. Your prompt is sent to a third-party AI model provider so an image can be generated. We do not persist prompts on our servers.
• IP address. Your IP is used in volatile memory to enforce a short-term per-IP rate limit and is automatically discarded when the daily counter resets. We do not log IPs to disk.
• Standard request metadata. Like every web server, our servers see things like the User-Agent string, requested path, and timestamp. These are kept only as long as needed for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
• Analytics events. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, country, device class). We do not configure GA to record user identifiers.

3. What we do not collect

• We do not require an account, email address, or any contact information.
• We do not store the prompts you type.
• We do not store the images that are generated. The model provider's CDN serves them directly.
• We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.

4. Cookies

GPTimage itself does not set any first-party tracking cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies on your browser to measure aggregate usage. You can opt out using browser settings, an ad blocker, or the official Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

5. Third parties

To deliver the service we route your prompt to a third-party AI image generation provider. The provider receives the prompt text and returns an image URL. We recommend reviewing their privacy policy if you have concerns about prompt content.

Static assets are served from our own infrastructure. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

6. Data retention

Rate-limit counters in memory expire automatically at midnight UTC. Standard server logs are rotated and discarded on a short schedule. Generated images are hosted on the model provider's CDN and follow their retention policy.

7. Children

GPTimage is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the service, please contact us so we can investigate.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (EEA, UK, California, Brazil, and others), you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal data we hold about you. Because we do not store identifiers, in most cases there is nothing for us to access or delete — but you can still write to us at the address below.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of GPTimage after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
